VP of Accounting, Controller
PE-backed pediatric dental, vision and ortho management organization
- Entered the organization in a time of financial doubt and drove impactful change.
- Created weekly cash forecast, based on historical actuals, resulting in a negative cash position at year end.
Analyzed closely with FP&A to present cost saving efforts and production goals for operations leading to a
positive cash forecast.
- Oversaw the transition of accounting software from Great Plains to Sage Intacct.
- Implemented accounts payable automation utilizing MineralTree which decreased manual efforts, payment
lag, vendor inquiries and reduced costs by 1+ FTE.
- Transitioned corporate card platform to Bill.com, which provided the organization with up to a 2% cash back
rebate generating additional cash flow to aid in future business endeavors.
- Decreased annual financial audit schedule to meet debt covenants, with no adjustments to revenue. Prior
audit resulted in a $2.2M revenue adjustment and was issued late requiring a debt covenant waiver.
- Applied a standard month end close schedule reducing reporting timeline from 30 to 10 days.

- Partner with the Controller to oversee the company’s finance and accounting functions including: month-end
close, consolidations, and financial reporting.

general ledger maintenance.
